Incumbent Pittsford Fire Commissioner Hal Lusk was re-elected tonight to a five-year term on the Board of Fire Commissioners.
Lusk, 65, who has been with the fire department for 43 years, received 197 votes, defeating challenger Robert Spiegel, who garnered 139 votes.
Spiegel is retired chief of the airport fire department.
Timothy V. Hyland, another incumbent, ran unopposed. He received 182 votes.
The seven-member board is responsible for purchasing firefighting equipment and establishing budgets, among other duties.
In Brighton, Mike Wright, 52, who owns Upstate Facilities Solutions, ran unopposed for a seat on the five-member Brighton Board of Commissioners.
