Red Cross sends two doctors to Elmira to help after Thursday's storm
The Finger Lakes Region of the American Red Cross is sending two doctors to Elmira to help with the Red Cross operations after Thursday’s storm.
Bipin Shah of Pittsford and Al Santos of Brighton will function as health services associates and will address the health care needs of shelter residents.
The Red Cross opened a shelter in Elmira Thursday night in response to high winds, power outages and a possible tornado in that area.
