Local soccer fans react to the thrilling U.S. vs. Canada game | News

Soccer fans were glued to the TV as they watched Team USA take on Canada in the Women’s semifinals matchup. 

There was a huge crowd at the Back Nine Grill in Pittsford. The restaurant and bar is owned by U.S. soccer star and Pittsford native, Abby Wambach’s brother. 

U.S will now play Japan for the gold medal on Thursday at 2:45p.m. The game is a rematch of last year’s World Cup final game where Japan beat the U.S. in penalty kicks.
