New owner for Rochester's Original Crab Shack | News

There is a new owner of the Rochester's Original Crab Shack restaurant in Brigton.

Longtime employee and manager Mike Kimble has acquired the Crab Shack restaurant business from the Daniele Family. Kimble was the manager who helped open the Original Crab Shack more than two years ago. Kimble, along with his brother, Mark,  will continue managing the restaurant under his new ownership. 

The Daniele Family will own the property and the building, along with working closely with Mr Kimble in an advisory and consulting capacity. 

The restaurant will continue operating with the same name, staff and menu. The Crab Shack will begin opening for lunch seven days a week beginning Monday February 18.
