Nazareth students rebuild after Hurricane Sandy
News

It’s “Reading Weekend” at Nazareth College but it turns out some students won't have much time to read. They left around 6 a.m. Friday to go to Staten Island to help rebuild after Hurricane Sandy.

They are joining a group called "All Hands Volunteers" and they'll clean out houses and rip out damaged drywall, insulation, siding and carpets.

The 14 students will stay in dorms on Wagner College Campus. Home Depot is co-sponsoring the trip and helping with kits to protect the students from mold that's been growing in many of the houses.
